0000184: the add project button (+) is not available

i added two projects and now project add is unavailable

I want to add yarn to 2 projects, but the add yarn option is not available. One project just shows the word yarn but no box beside it, in the other one yarn is shown with no option to add a yarn. If I try to use the fiber content percentage it freezes my iPad and I have to restart the iPad to continue using the program.

Hi!
I love your app but have noticed a problem since updating to the new operating system. When I'm in "counters" if there is only one counter, or in the case of multiples, the top one, I can't edit it. I keep opening new ones instead. It's like the buttons overlap or something.
I am able to swipe to delete though.

Every time I try to launch the app it crashes. I'm in the middle of a project for which I need the dimensions and I can't get to it. How do I get my old app back???

0000180: can't select yarn purchase date

app needs to be updated for OS5 compatibility. the date selection option won't close after selecting the purchase date. just closing and re-opening the app doesn't help...it re-opens to the same screen. shutting off the phone is the only way to clear the problem.

0000179: Can't find icon after install

Just downloadedthe app. Icon does not appear anywhere,
but still shows as "installed" on the app store. Shows up under
iPod settings as well. iPod search does not find it either.

0000177: Notes section for yarns not always accessible.

Periodically, I can not get to the notes section when adding/editing yarns. it appears to be related to hitting the "done" button after adding text. After hitting the button, I can' t get to the notes section for another yarn. I can see the notes section, but it won't scroll down enough to let me click into it. It will randomly fix itself, but I haven't figured out what the trick is to get it to reset itself. (tried navigating away to edit needles, etc.). Seems like I just have to walk away from the app for a few days and then it seems to clear itself up. I have an ipad2.

Thanks for looking into this. Really enjoy the app otherwise.

Just downloaded the paid version of the app to be able to list all my needle sizes-still getting to the yarn and pattern sections, ;} One thing that could be added is a section where one can list other tools like stitch holders, yarn needles, stitch markers etc. so when shopping you know if you have the item or need to buy it for a project. It would be great to have all that info in this app too-hope others are requesting this too and it can be added soon!!

i've had frequent but random crashes of this app since updating my 3G phone to OS4 last year. it happens nearly every time when adding yarn/pattern/project. the crash occurs at various times during the 'adding' process, but most frequently when adding pictures.

0000012: Patterns should link to external sources

Lots of people are reporting that they use Evernote and other programs for storing patterns. It would be great to link patterns in KnitMinder to those external programs.

If I am working on a project that requires two needles, but I have six of that type and size, it would be nice to know that the unused needles are available.

It would be GREAT if you could duplicate a yarn or needle so you wouldn't have to input the same info over and over.

I'm having the same issues as 0000169. It crashes randomly and I'm unable to take and select a photo of anything.

Many of my yarns have more than one color in them, please add the ability to select more than one color. Also I would like to be able to put in the number of skeins or hanks that I have on hand.

it would be really time-saving if we could duplicate an existing yarn entry to make adding an additional colourway quicker. as stands, all the yarn information has to be re-entered again.

When trying to export data from the server to knitminder full version I am getting a message saying " import failed , requested key does not exist".
The info was exported successfully to the server from knitminder lite. I have tried to do the import several times but with no success.

I agree about the pattern notes section being too small and difficult to navigate. For simple things, I would like to paste the pattern in here, and be able to switch between pattern and counter easily. This would mean that the notes section would have to stay on the same view so I wouldn't have to scroll every time.

I downloaded the update for Knitminder to my iPhone 3 phone. Now when I select Knitminder it does nothing. I can't get to my projects, yarn, needles etc. Can I undo the update?

I tried to open several times without success. Rebooted ITouch, didn't work. I then uninstalled program & when I went to app store to reinstall it wasnt available!!!

0000163: Add ability to sort needles by arbitrary field

Also I love how my needles are grouped by type. However, I mostly use circular needles these days. I would like to be able to sort them by types of my choosing.
