I just submitted version 1.5.1 for approval. This bug-fix release fixes the following issues:

  • 0000096: [bug] no feedback if an image source is unavailable
  • 0000141: [bug] changing pattern on project does not change project photo
  • 0000145: [feature request] add acrylic needle material
  • 0000142: [bug] sometimes unable to import

There is a minor change in how the program functions in this fix. Previously, when you added a pattern to a project, the pattern's photo was used as the project photo if the project didn't already have a photo. Now, the pattern photo will always overwrite any existing project photo.

I have an iPad, and let me tell you it had become my best knit/crochet companion. I would love to have this app. You can still buy the iPhone app but on the iPad the iPhone apps are small, if you increase the view, pictures become distorted. So pretty, pretty please upgrade for iPad.

I've started work on a universal version of the app which will run on both the iPhone and iPad, but for the past few weeks my day job has been keeping me working 14-16 hour days so development has stalled a little bit. Apple will also be announcing a new iPhone/iPad OS in a couple of weeks, so I'm also reworking what I've already written so it will run on that OS update.

Short story: an iPad version is on its way!
